Hi,

Here is a patch that should fix both the cursor speed issues and the
incorrect
computation of mickeys in the Linux evdev driver.

It works fine, I think, for common mice.  But there are now a few
problems
with the mouse on my Wacom tablet.  In particular the screen is now
mapped to
an area less than 1 square cm, and the mouse has a bad case of parkinson
disease :/  In addition, position_mouse doesn't work with the tablet
(works
fine with a common mouse).  I'm still working on that.
