As reported here (I hope there's no session specific info in there):

It seems that at least some MacOS X versions choke on pcpu.m. Anything we
can do about that? I wasn't able to find any relevant information using
google.
On a side issue, SDL has a CPU_HAS_ALTIVEC for their equivalent of
cpu_capabilities. Do we want the same (I guess we do)?
