[AD] doc return type missing

AUDIOSTREAM *play_audio_stream(int len, bits, stereo, freq, vol, pan);

the documentation does not mention the return value.
(NULL on failure)


looking at the function  there contains locally defined vars that are 
not listed at the top of the func, what is the current style 
recommendation ?   vars at top of func or as little scope as possible ?
