That's very nice then. Would anything speak against adding it generally
to the timer thread, i.e. one timeBeginPeriod when the timer is started,
and one when it is removed again - so it always has 1ms accuracy? It
would be important e.g. for the midi player (here in linux, all midi's
played by allegro sound somewhat strange because notes are only played
with 20ms accuracy or so).
