I only found this on MSDN:

It doesn't say anywhere that Sleep() is affected by it. Does anyone have
clearer docs or can confirm it does indeed do what is claimed? And will
it still cause Sleep() to activate the scheduler?


i have been using it for 2 years.
and it does exactly what it suggests.
makes Sleep(1); mean 1ms instead of the default which averages at about 8ms.
