Summary: CPU detection for OSX
Initial Comment:
As requested in todo.txt, a patch to do CPU detection for
Mac. Note this is Mac-specific rather than PowerPC specific,
as it uses a Mach-O function from the underlying OS. So, if
you were using PPC Linux, it wouldn't help!
I've included a zipfile, which contains
* A patch for makefile.osx, test.c and system.h
* A jpeg showing output from the 'test' program
* A new file, pcpu.c, which should go into src/macosx
I also included some #defines in system.h for Intel folks, so
that CPU_FAMILY_I386 is an alias for '3' and so on.
