[AD] Removing exists()

This is a proposal to remove the exists() function and replace it with a 
compatibility macro.  The rationale is that it's pretty bad namespace 
pollution for such a trivial function.  Although, judging by its usage 
inside Allegro itself, it's rather convenient.

I don't really mind if this proposal is rejected, as the serious 
namespace cleanup will begin from 4.3 onwards anyway.
