After writing a replpy to one of X-G's "IDEs suck" posts on a.cc, I
realized that we can make it more easy for the VC guys, if we use the
#pragma (lib, "alleg.lib") format in the allegro.h headers.
Does link order matter in MSVC? I don't remember it ever mattering, but
if so, how does the #pragma deal with that?
Also, people may not have the debug versions of allegro around, but
still want to debug their own application. With the pragma's, this
becomes a problem because it assumes that all the libs exist.
If the goal is to make working with MSVC easier, then I think a proper
solution would be to create a wizard / template for the MSVC users. (I
think one already exists.) I would be in favor of including that with
Allegro vs doing some "magic" with #pragma. A template would eliminate
all sources of problems, including console vs win32, etc.
