[AD] problems with linux library

Hello!

I'm Daniele, an Italian student of the university of Rome. I've tried to
install Allegro on my system.. The installation is good. I compile my project,
and all is right, but when i run the executable file I have a problem, the
bush shell shows this message:

[root@xxxxxxxxxx demo]# gcc -g demo.c `allegro-config --libs`
[root@xxxxxxxxxx demo]# ./a.out
./a.out: relocation error: /usr/lib/liballeg.so.4.0: undefined symbol: _xwin_write_line_asm
[root@xxxxxxxxxx demo]#

what i have to do? I've to download some RPM? My OS is Red hat linux 9...
