I think the "right" solution would be to allow a windowmanager to
resize the allegro window. Then you don't need to write the
"almost-maximize" code anymore. As said, gnome and others (wmaker, for
example) already know how to do this. I don't think allegro should
attempt to guess which windows it can overlap and which it can't.
