[AD] crash in poly_zbuf_ptex16.

using:
msvc6.0  win2k.sp3
allegro 4.0.3.rc2 (debug, staticlink)

it crashed on poly_zbuf_ptex16

the only thing i could find that looks a bit wrong is the bmp->dat var is 0x00
does that mean its set to null ?  and has no buffer ?
how could this occur ?
