I don't think so. The closest thing you can
get properly documented is Allegro's hacking guide
(http://alleg.sourceforge.net/onlinedocs/en/ahack.html), but it won't
help much. Maybe you can use SourceForge's CVS log history to trace
back in time what different people wrote when they ported Allegro to
say linux or beos. Looking at the general structure of src/platform
should also give a good idea of what is needed to have a specific
platform. You could also try browsing the old mail archives still
stored at http://glub.ehu.es/cgi-bin/allegro_conductors_search

However, you say that Allegro worked on your platform just after
a Visual C++ compilation.  Well, if that's the case, maybe you
don't need to port at all? I would make a specific port only if
it would provide better speed/size than the current windows port,
which seems to work for you.
