Almost. The version in the root directory should be regenerated by a 'make
docs', so the rule for the file should be similar to CHANGES, AUTHORS and
THANKS, both in makefile.in and makefile.all .

And you should patch

    echo "Patching readme.txt..."

in misc/fixver.sh too.
