Humm, seems like a synchronization issue...
In the past I've worked a lot to the Allegro BeOS sound layer, trying to
make it work flawlessly with multiprocessor systems (there was a sync
issue only happening with more than one CPU, that forced me to add more
overhead and hacks to the lib code). It seemed to me that finally
everything worked fine, but eventually I was wrong... (BTW for me it
works ok now)
As this is a matter of testing and testing until it works ok, I'd
suggest a meet over the #allegro EFnet IRC channel, so I can work out
some solutions and you could test them on the fly. What do you think
about this? I use to hang often there, so if you drop in it's likely you
encounter me; my nick is lillo.
