I hope to see Allegro up and running on FreeBSD right out of the box. :)
I have FreeBSD installed for server reasons at home and would love to get
Allegro working on it. I wish I could help here, but I have limited (read:
no) knowledge on the X / Allegro side of things. Peter was on my machine
from remote and was able to get some of the examples working for me.
So if any (trustworthy) Allegro developer wants to make use of my FreeBSD to
test Allegro just send me a note. I'm only on a dial up, so it would be use
at your own risk. :)
Or, I could simply test Allegro on FreeBSD when it is assumed to work.
Either way, I look forward to it working...
(On a side note, I'm available to do tests on XP + MSVC 6 & MingW, QNX,
BeOS, and FreeBSD if its ever of any help.)
