[AD] Switch callbacks under X

I finally made this patch ¹ (with great help by Angelo Mottola) that
implements switch callbacks under X.

Tested only under Debian Woody, X 4.1.0.1, kernel 2.4.18

I'll soon make an example program on how to pause an X application when
it is in the background.

¹ 1) against a cvs of some days ago, i really don't remember how much,
if files changed, tell me and i'll try to do a "newer" version; 2) it
should modify 3 files, so i >>'d the 3 diffs into one... is that
correct?
