[AD] gfxtest locks up with 4.0.0 + watcom

When I run:

   gfxtest VBAF

it prints some header, followed by:

   Name: VBE/AF; Driver ID: VBAF
   640x400    8bpp

and then locks up my system (i.e., I have to reboot). I'm using Allegro
4.0 release candidate 1, Watcom 10.6, dos box under windows 95. The file
c:/vbeaf.drv is from 1999-04-24.

I won't have time to debug this for at least one week, sorry, but you
probably want to know anyway.
