[AD] VBE/AF fetch_mode_list implementation.

was a little bit bored today so i decided to spend some time on coding. :o)

 

attached is a patch (based on to 3.9.40 cvs) that adds vbeaf_fetch_mode_list(). it also moves some functionality out of vbeaf_init() to vbeaf_locate_driver() and vbeaf_lowlevel_init().

 

the patch has been tested with FreeBe/AF 1.2 using the stub driver. The test program was compiled with djgpp.

 

i want this patch tested with at least one of the other lowlevel VBE/AF drivers before i put this one in the repository. also for some reason the vbeaf_fetch_mode_list() function refuses to work (it does not crash the mode-selector though) when you are calling it from a windowed textmode screen (win32 dos prompt) but if you change to fullscreen textmode it works like a dream. i will have a look at this later but if any bright heads would can help me figure out why this happens i'd be greateful.
