i have CVS version updated yesterday and RehHat 7.1
my desktop is 800x600 24bpp

and i have *exactly* the same problem.
note that this happens even in fullscreen mode,
i've tested it:
- windowed 640x480 16bpp
- fullscreen 800x600 24bpp
it also reports a wrong amount of vram since i have 16MB and it says ca. 3MB
i think _this_ may cause the problem...
instead using
- windowed 640x480 24bpp (my desktop depth)
i have the same problem, except that a little scrolling is visible
nitpick on another argument:
[it looks like there is an error with the server of
conductors@xxxxxxxxxx, i think. because in AL and AGP lists the
"reply-to" field of all emails is set correctly to allegro@xxxxxxxxxx
or agp@xxxxxxxxxx, instead in conductors it isn't set at all, so
if i click reply the destination address is by default the personal
address of the sender of the original email...]
