the wfixicon utility is linked to the allegro dll. during make if the
demo.dat file is found wfixicon is called. the problem is that at that point
the dll is not installed. therefore the demo's dependancy against wfixicon
should be removed.
BTW! i have not yet figured out the mode-selector problem reported by eric.
i recently fixed up another bug in the mode-selector that i thought was the
problem reported by eric, but it was not. all i have found out so far is
that there is a freeze in the call to popup_dialog() called by
gfx_mode_select() under windows. there is also no crash under X11, and under
DOS i don't even get up the mode-selector. any help with will be greatly
appreciated.
