As for fbdev it would be possible to get the list from the user supplied
/etc/fb.modes file. However, this file doesn't have to list modes
supported by the framebuffer, so it partially defeats the purpose of
fetch_mode_list, since this list should contain "good" modes, right?
Also, maybe it would be nice to put editable text boxes somewhere in
gfx_mode_select_ex for drivers where sizes are unlimited/unknown (running
my sizehack entry in 666x666 is cool).
