Patches to the 3D code are often sat around for a while because they are
generally complex changes to complex code, and the developers with CVS
write access don't always have the time or knowledge to fully evaluate
the patches.
A good idea is to post the patch here and on the SourceForge page
(http://sourceforge.net/patch/?group_id=5665 : click `Submit a Patch');
this way, the patch is available to those who missed it or deleted the
email, etc.
Once a few people have tested the patch and reported that it works
correctly (or at least better :-) ), and maybe submitted some
modifications, then the patch will be committed. If you don't hear
anything for a while, though, then post a reminder.
Bye for now,
