[AD] mingw32 native build

Peter Puck <zaqhaq@xxxxxxxxxx> sent me some updates to the native build.

I tested it and found all the examples to be working and now dynamic linking works too. it's just a matter of time before we can replace the msvc-piggyback build now, which i think is neat... ;-)

 

look in mingw.txt and tzbug.txt for more info. there's a timezone issue that needs to be fixed before it works 100%. i want these changes to be applied to cvs, but beware... check out everything and make sure it doesn't destroy the msvc build or does anything else ugly. the src/win/* file changes are based on a cvs 4-5 days old but i'm not sure the other files are.

i'll attach a documentation update and later when the changes are implemented i'll post yet another makefile update to finalize the build. at that time we can remove the dependancy files from cvs and replace makefile.mgw and readme.mgw and remove the .mgs files.

 

note: i think peter deserves some credit for this so add him to the authors file.
