Not happy with doing cvs and applying patches, George also wrote a
tutorial which was posted some weeks ago on the Allegro ML (i think). I am
sending you a copy by private email.
Another way of learning would be going to http://libnet.sourceforge.net
and following the pretty basic instructions which get you used to
downloading a project by anonymous cvs.
If what you look for are windows versions of cvs, Peter Wang already
answered this on the list:
