You are right. It solves the issue. Didn't think about that since it configured to use ip and not a dns address. Thanks!

Have you tried the -n option (chronyc -n tracking)? Without that
option, chronyc prints the hostname corresponding to the reference ID.
That may take a while if DNS is slow or unreliable.
