Not sure what you mean. A hardware reference source (GPS, atomic clock, ...) is stratum 0
. A computer such as
yours, which takes its time from that reference source, is stratum 1. But only
if that hardware source is really the sournce being used by chrony to
discipline the time. Chrony does comply to the RFC. Perhaps if you told us your problem better
advice could be given.


Have not found anything about it in the manual.
