Effective starting now, the 1.16 branch is in string freeze until the 1.16.4 release which is scheduled for 10th of July. While this is less time than normal for a string freeze period, 1.16.4 should have relatively few string changes and is being released to fix a bug affecting all OSes that can cause players to be unable to click on units or use hotkeys.
