[vhffs] Panel URL issue

I’m trying to build vhffs for evaluation, I’m building it on debian 5.01.

 

I am at a point where I can run the panel, but the return pages don’t return with the correct url.

 

http://vhffs.myhost.dom/panel/panel.pl

 

in the pages returned the /panel directory isn’t in the path http://vhffs.myhost.dom/subscribe.pl

 

I can’t figure out how to make apache serve the cgi scripts from the document root, and I’ve been through the vhffs.conf many times looking for an item I might have missed.
