    mercurialn: use sendmail instead of smtp in commit hook
    
    Using SMTP was a stupid unreliable hack because subversion was running
    in a chroot without a MTA running in. User is expected to provide a
    reliable way to send mail using the sendmail de facto standard, by
    using a real MTA or a fake one like nullmailer.

    git: remove most of our changes to default post-receive-email hook
    
    Switch back to sendmail, using SMTP was a stupid unreliable hack.
    Don't set Date field, first MTA is going to add it anyway.
