I believe this issue is fixed in tazpkg-910.

The root of issue: there was no difference between "get" and "get-install"
commands in package name determining.
So, you cannot get-install "lzma" because you have "xz" installed.
And you cannot get-install "yad" because you have "yad-html" installed.
These rules also (mistakenly) apply to the command "get".

Now it fixed, and you can re-try to download all the packages you mention.

Also, you can use "virtual" packages:
tazpkg -g hg downloads mercurial
tazpkg -g sendmail downloads postfix
and so on (see /var/lib/tazpkg/packages.equiv)
