<p>O time de desenvolvedores do SliTaz anuncia a disponibilidade do primeiro
"Release Candidate (RC)" para a versão 4.0. Sua inicialização é rápida, entre
10 a 12 segundos em hardware mais recente. Com a nova iso 4in1 pode-se
instalar o sistema em computadores com apenas 48MB de memória RAM. Esta
ISO pode autodetectar a memória disponível e iniciar o SliTaz em modo texto,
em um sistema gráfico mínimo ou em um desktop completo.</p>
<p>A versão 4.0 terá mais de 3000 pacotes bem testados em seus repositórios.
Desde a última versão de testes (cooking) os pacotes foram compilados
duas vezes para assegurar a qualidade. Este Release Candidate permite
aos usuários e desenvolvedores descobrirem alguns possíveis bugs antes
da versão final.</p>
<p>As novidades deste RC são: um novo menu gráfico na inicialização,
configuração de linguagem e teclado com ferramentas gráficas,
novo desenho de desktop, nova arte e novo instalador em modo texto

22 Feb 2012 - SliTaz 4.0 RC1
The SliTaz contributor team is pleased to annouce the imediate
availibity of the first relesase candidate for SliTaz 4.0. SliTaz can
boot in 10-12 second on fearly new hardware and with the new 4in1 ISO
you can install a full SliTaz desktop with only 48Mb of RAM. The 4in1
ISO is able to auto detect the memmory and boot SliTaz in text mode, in
a minimal X environement or a full desktop.
SliTaz 4.0 will have more than 3000 well tested packages in it's
repository and RC serie let us track last bugs. From our last Cooking
release the packages have all been rebuilt twice to ensure build
quality.
This RC1 ISO will prompt you with a new graphical menu, a graphical
languages and keyboard set up, a new desktop layout and artwork as well
as a new command line installer and it's CGI/web interface accessible
via TazPanel. You can download this new ISO from our mirror:
