need really help for wireless ath5k

Hi,

ath5k does not work in cooking - it only works in cooking fom march.
But I really need it for my OLA - (open lighting architecture) -
slitaz.iso

as a summary, I do not know if it is a bug of linux-wireless or
wireless tools

it works fine in the march cooking with kernel 2.6.36, but this is
quite useless, because there is no more slitaz-toolchain.

the driver at least in the rolling iso looks fine, but when I try to
connect or scan the device with iwlist or iwconfig, it tells illegal
instruction.

I have installed compat-wireless - same result

I wanted to install linux-libre - but I just get kernel panic
