Hi,
I gave the ISO a try in VirtualBox and ended up with a missing lxpanel.
Turns out, that this crashes with a segmentation fault. Here's the backtrace:
#0 0xb7772ffc in vfprintf () from /lib/libc.so.6
#1 0xb7796b63 in vasprintf () from /lib/libc.so.6
#2 0xb790705b in g_vasprintf () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#3 0xb78f28ea in g_string_append_vprintf () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#4 0xb78f2a27 in g_string_append_printf () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#5 0xb718cde7 in battery_update () from /usr/lib/lxpanel/plugins/batt.so
#6 0xb718be5c in ?? () from /usr/lib/lxpanel/plugins/batt.so
#7 0x0805f9f6 in plugin_start ()
#8 0x0805e4f2 in ?? ()
#9 0x0805eaff in panel_new ()
#10 0x0805f07a in main ()
After removing the battery plugin from the default panel configuration it works.
The button for netsurf is then also right there. Did I miss something in the lxpanel package?
But I did a hg update right before creating the diff and sending it...
Best regards,
Harald
