hi allan,

I am using the siltaz cooking 20091104 live cd. The linux-sound had been installed. I tried to load the modules like in the attachment. is it right?
There are still no sound.

hi pre,

could you just confirm if you have linux-sound installed using tazpkg.
tazpkg search linux-sound
if you are using the live cd , im not sure if it already there and if
it does actually provide the driver,
according to your screenshot, it looks like it is ac97 via
try loading the foll modules as root , one of them should work.
modprobe snd-ac97-codec
modprobe snd-sis7019
modprobe snd-via82xx.
