I can probably offer some help. I have been using Sawfish for a while, when
it was still called Sawmill. I have many years of experience with RPM
packaging: in fact, in the old times of Red Hat Linux (not the Enterprise
Linux, it was the thing which would have later morph into present-time Fedora)
I maintained unofficial RPM packages for that weird new rlogin-alike called
ssh-1.2 :-). That said, being mainly a Perl/C programmer, Lisp/Guile is not my
cup of $favourite_beverage. So I can help with packaging, but not with
Sawfish internals.

Is there still anybody here who is able to understand the inner workings
of librep/sawfish?

FWIW, I am not another instance of Jia Tan of the xz supply chain attack,
my history on this list and elsewhere in the Internet is quite well documented
(look up Yenya on github, cpan, and mailing list archives).

Maybe we can co-maintain the sawfish packages?

I don't like Python; its lack of inline, anonymous, multi-statement
functions makes me sad. --Eric Wastl
