[Sawfish] Pop-up menus unresponsive on Fedora 43?

[ Thread Index | Date Index | More lists.tuxfamily.org/sawfish Archives ]

	Hi all,

after upgrading to Fedora 43, using XFCE + sawfish + Xorg desktop,
sawfish menus stopped working:

My configuration has [Menu] key bound to the root menu,
and one of the buttons in the window title bar bound to the window menu.
In F43, those menus pop up as expected when pressing the [Menu] key
or the title bar button, but then they grab the cursor, and nothing can
be selected in them. So the desktop becomes unusable - no way to dismiss
the popped-up menu, either with mouse or with keyboard.
The only solution I have found is to switch to a text
console (Ctrl-Alt-F2), log in, and run something like

DISPLAY=:0 nohup sawfish --5-buttons --replace &

Does this happen for anyone else as well? Thanks!
