On the website is a special place for collections, of symbols
and yes you will need to make them yourself, copy an existing one and 
make changes.
be aware all is saved in xml so you can also use a editor to change 
items in the database.
further on there is a dxf to qet translator.
I chose qet because it has a good collection, free.
