Is this the right place
http://gentoomemories.blogspot.com.au/2010/11/jack-and-ladi-overlay.html

layman -o http://www.marcochapeau.org/files/downloads/overlays.xml -f -a ladi
gives me...
Error was:
HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Overlay "ladi" does not exist.

I think I've got the device working. I have to have eselect python set python-2.7 to build and run ffado and zynjacku. ffado-test Discover informed me the firmware(0x10008) was incompatible. I installed Saffire Mix Control 2.43 in MacOSX which updated the firmware. Now ffado sees the Saffire and thffado mixer works. Just need to get jackd-2.9999 to compile. I have python-2.7 and 3.2 installed. What do I need to do to get jackd,ffadfo, and python to work together properly.

=== REPORT ===
FireWire kernel drivers:

The new FireWire kernel stack is loaded.
If running a kernel earlier than 2.6.37 and problems are experienced, either
try with the old Firewire kernel stack or upgrade to a newer kernel
(preferrably 2.6.37 or later).
