if you want to install the git version from rakarrack ( http://rakarrack.sourceforge.net/dl.html )you need to uninstall FLTK and download && compile FLTK-1.1.10 ( http://fltk.org/software.php ).
for guitarix maybe first install jconvolver.
is the gentoo-audio distribution still alive?
