Hello
I have a few ebuilds laying around in my overlay and wondered if they would be
suitable for inclusion in the pro-audio tree, some are quite obscure so I am
asking first before I go on a commit frenzy and start putting stuff here
that's not wanted.
jamin-presets - some very nice presets for Jamin made by Gilberto Borges.
http://musix.codigolivre.org.br/
ftp://codigolivre.org.br/pub/linaudiobr/jaminpresets/
GPL
Soundmosaic (wow, check it out!)
http://awesame.org/soundmosaic/
as-is license
xmp - Extended Module Player
http://xmp.sourceforge.net/
GPL
The 2.5.1 used to be in the main Gentoo tree (before it was dropped by
last-rites), it was removed because it was apparently unmaintained for quite
a while. The project seems to have picked up again and has had more releases
that fix a lot of bugs and security holes. I've been using this since it was
dropped and bumped it through to the current version 2.7.1. I use this a bit
to play all manner of old tracker files that I have laying around and it's
kind of a special audio tool in my opinion.
Boodler - A soundscape generator
http://boodler.org/
LGPL
A cool python application for generating infinitely variating [ambient]
soundscapes.
Let me know which I should commit. :)
Cheers
Gavin
