I'm trying to tune a new gentoo installation, but I haven't been able to get realtime priority working.
I've put the following in /etc/security/limits.conf:
@audio - rtprio 99
@audio - memlock 250000
@audio - nice -10
and I have the following in /etc/group:
audio::18:robert
# (My user name is definitely robert.)
jack gets realtime priority when started as root.
I've obviously missed something. Anyone know what it is?
