this reason is not really a reason to hardmask it.
even if i can't import flac, i'd like to use it. but it's okay, and thanks for 
the information.

i'll unmask it, and hope that 2.2 will be released soon and only masked in the 
tree.
the current ongoing svn version is really fine!

if someone is interested here are some new features/points:
rubberband is included. also the default time-strech can be done now with that 
libray. (you need the vamp sdk to build ardour successful with the new 
library.)

new meters have been added beneath the audio tracks
a new editing style has been created, and seems to me as really useful. have a 
look at http://ardour.org/node/1400 for details.
