Hi.
There seems to be a problem with museseq 1.0 pre1. I've installed
it, accepting to downgrade jackd to 0.102. Then I had this :
-----------o0o-----------------
/opt > emerge -auDN world
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating world dependencies / * QA Notice: The package
dev-util/cmake-2.4.2 still uses the broken debug.eclass
-
!!! Multiple versions within a single package slot have been
!!! pulled into the dependency graph:
('ebuild', '/', 'media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit-0.102.20', 'merge')
pulled in by
('ebuild', '/', 'media-sound/museseq-1.0_pre1', 'merge')
('ebuild', '/', 'media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit-0.103.0',
'nomerge') pulled in by
('ebuild', '/', 'media-sound/fluidsynth-1.0.7a', 'nomerge')
[lots of audio software]
('ebuild', '/', 'media-sound/linuxsampler-9999', 'nomerge')
It may be possible to solve this problem by using package.mask to
prevent one of those packages from being selected. However, it is also
possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are
impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in the
dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can not be
installed simultaneously.
For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page
or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
!!! Depgraph creation failed.
--------------o0o-------------------
The solution, as indicated, was to uninstall and manually mask
museseq 1.0 pre-1. (which made the warning about cmake disappear).
This version of cmake was installed with Muse 1.0 :
[I] dev-util/cmake
Available versions: 2.0.6-r1 ~2.4.2[1] 2.4.3 ~2.4.4 ~2.4.5 ~2.4.6
Installed versions: 2.4.3(14:06:51 31.03.2007)
Homepage: http://www.cmake.org/
Description: Cross platform Make
Would there be a solution to install the last version of museseq
aside of 0.9 without this problem and without downgrading jackd ? The last
Muse seems to start perfectly with jackd 0.103 as far as i could test
before unmerging it...
Thank you very much in advance, and most of all thank you for
making all these softs available so quickly, before any public annoucement :).
