Hello

As it's my first post on this mailing list, I will introduce myself :
I have been writing electronic music under Gentoo GNU/Linux for quite
some time now, and released 2 albums under the nickname "DJ Black Red"
on Jamendo ( http://jamendo.com/artist/dj.black.red/ ). I'm also a
network engineer, and live in Grenoble, France, where I'm an active
member of the local LUG. I'm also founding a not for profit organization
aiming at providing wireless connectivity there.

Now, my problem :
I'm trying to compile zynaddsubfx-2.2.1-r8 from the proaudio overlay,
but it fails, apparently due to JACK.

Versions and USE flags :
media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit-0.102.20 USE="alsa caps
jack-tmpfs jackmidi mmx netjack portaudio sndfile sse (-altivec)
(-coreaudio) -debug -doc -oss" 0 kB [1]

media-sound/zynaddsubfx-2.2.1-r8 USE="alsa jack jackmidi lash -oss" 0
kB [1]

My CFLAGS :
CFLAGS="-march=c3-2 -msse -mmmx -Os -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"

I put /var/tmp/portage/media-sound/zynaddsubfx-2.2.1-r8/temp/build.log
at http://vincent.riquer.eu.org/zynaddsubfx-build.log

oh that was my fault. I'm using jack svn checkout in which the function name changed so I added a patch to reflect this change. I'll reverse this change as 2.2.1-r8 should work with stable

Thanks for any help
