1) Many thx for the "proaudio" overlay ... it's just ... essential !
2) I've got many problems with TSE3 :
=> There are no patch files in media-libs/tse3/files, so I've got to copy them
from /usr/portage/media-libs/tse3/files to make the ebuild work !
=> I think that tse3-0.2.7-gcc34.patch (called by tse3-0.3.1.ebuild from
proaudio overlay) isn't usefull anymore (it makes media-libs/tse3-0.3.1
failed on my Gentoo 2006.1/x86). If you remove the line "epatch
${FILESDIR}/${PN}-0.2.7-gcc34.patch" in tse3-0.3.1.ebuild, everything compile
fine :-)
=> At last, a problem still remains : tse3play seems to work ("vu-meters" move
when I play a midi file, logs are OK, timidity seems to be found) but I can't
get any sound ! Timidity can play the same midifile with no problem.
=> Does anyone know if it's possible (and how) to make tse3/tse3play work on
Gentoo ?
