Hi,
I am trying to do an ebuild for snd-ls at
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/~kjetil/src/
It is not necessary to learn guile with this version to be able to use the advanced features of the program.
The problem is at it want to install the program in /usr/local. By that way, it is possible to use both the "normal" snd version in /usr and this one.
If I install this one in /usr, it will be a mess with snd. So, I think at a better place for a program installed with an ebuild will be in /opt, so we have use both.
Can someone confirm me this?
