Bonjour,

Alors que l'adoption du projet de loi HADOPI suit son cours, nous avons 
décidé d'aller de l'avant. Ainsi, TuxFamily s'est proposé comme 
hébergeur pilote pour tester l'application et la mise en place des 
concepts HADOPI, à commencer par le filtrage de tout contenu suspect par 
rapport à tout ayant-droit potentiel. Le gouvernement a approuvé notre 
initiative et a décidé de nous encourager en hébergeant chez nous leur 
projet VAlbanel[1].

VAlbanel, pour Virtual Albanel, est un programme permettant de détecter 
et supprimer tout contenu illicite aux yeux de Mme Christine Albanel, 
fer de lance de ce merveilleux projet. Actuellement en cours de recette, 
ce traitement sera prochainement appliqué aux répertoires de 
téléchargements et aux espaces web de tous nos hébergés. Toujours dans 
l'esprit du libre, nullement incompatible avec HADOPI, vous pourrez 
consulter les sources de VAlbanel. Il s'agit d'une archive .tar.gz[2] 
récupérée chez le développeur après que les premières exécutions de 
VAlbanel aient supprimé les sources d'origine. Quoiqu'il en soit, nous 
vous invitons fortement à télécharger VAlbanel et à l'essayer sur votre 
ordinateur.

Enfin, pour éviter l'ajout de contenus illicites qui risqueraient 
d'échapper à la vigilance de VAlbanel, nous allons modifier notre FAQ 
sur certains points. Ainsi, nous inviterons désormais nos artistes 
hébergés à contacter la SACEM pour gérer leurs oeuvres plutôt que de 
s'en remettre à une licence libre.

Surveillez bien vos fichiers prochainement afin de voir si vous n'avez 
pas des fichiers frauduleux.

Hi,

While the discussion about the HADOPI law continues, we decided to move 
forward. Thus, TuxFamily volunteered as an experimental hosting service 
to test the application and the deployment of the HADOPI concepts, 
beginning by filtering any suspicious content for any potential 
copyright holder. The government approved our idea and decided to cheer 
us by hosting their VAlbanel project[1] on TuxFamily's servers.

VAlbanel for Virtual Albanel, is a software designed to check if your 
computer is clean against the HADOPI law, for those who don't understand 
why "Albanel", Mrs. Christine Albanel is the spearhead of this wonderful 
project. Currently under heavy tests, this software will be run on all 
download directories and web areas of our web hosting facility. Also in 
the spirit of open source, which is not incompatible with HADOPI, you 
can download the sources of VAlbanel. This is a .tar.gz archive[2] 
fetched from the developer when the first executions of VAlbanel have 
deleted the original sources. So, we strongly recommend you to download 
and execute VAlbanel on your computer.

Finally, to prevent the upload of illegal content which might not be 
seen by VAlbanel, we will modify our FAQ on some points. Thus, we now 
invite our hosted artists to contact the government to get a licence for 
their work instead of relying on a free license.

Keep an eye on your files in the next days in order to see if you had 
unlawful files.
