I am writing because as a parent, I want the best for my daughters (and sons too if I had any). This means that I want them to grow up to be as educated, skilled, and well adjusted as possible. It’s not easy and there’s a lot of things to consider. One of these is whether tech from computers to smartphones, from apps to games, and so on will help our kids or hinder them.
My name is Lucy and as well as being a parent, I am a former history teacher who took a step back to raise my kids, homeschool them, and do freelance writing as well. It’s a busy time, but I enjoy it. Part of this involves working with tech, health, and education sites, but today I’d like to write something for you on the topic of whether and how we include technology and the Internet especially into our children’s education.
While researching a new article, I came across tuxfamily.org. My focus on child development and technology seemed like a natural fit and I was wondering if you would let me write an article on this topic. All I would ask in return is that any resources and references, including to a site I work with in a similar niche to your own, is included.
Please let me know if we can work together.
Best Regards,
Lucy
