PS: I could potentially test it earlier if I get a (pipeline-provided) binary. Then again, I can imagine that you don't want to push untested changes to the repo so close to a new release...

Probably next weekend at the earliest. Feel free to remind me if I
forget. (Also, I need to undo my local changes beforehand, since my
local builds will never use a separate console, anyway, because I find
that rather annoying.)

Btw, I don't think it's worth holding the 2.6.1 release for this, as it
is not a regression.
