that's what i see from a non-project member view (see attached captures)

the only way to contribute is to send a mail to a private @framagit.org address, linked to the hatari repository

but obviously it doesn't work properly

I just double-checked the settings at Framagit, and merge requests are
enabled, so it should work.

You wrote that you tried to do a pull request "by email" ... how does that
work? I only know the way where you push to your forked repository and then
select to open a merge request from there ... have you tried to do that
already?
